" Hi guys,

One of the reasons why we wanted to set up an association was to give an identity to Maldivian photographers. We want to find opportunities for talented Maldivian photographers and try to negotiate and help them get opportunities/exposure and also very importantly, for their work to be appreciated and paid what it deserves.

What we want to do is simply facilitate. We are designing membership forms and they will out very soon. Anyone can be a member and we will have elections latest within 6 months to elect a executive committee. This committee will be elected from you guys alone. Not us.

We have a lot of events planned and we are negotiating collaborations with the photography associations in India and Singapore that will bring benefits to our local members.

Be assured that our intention is for this to benefit all of us.
